In 2015 she was a featured new artist at the Sosebee Gallery on Nantucket.
She Describes her inspiration and artistic process as follows: “As a landscape painter, I draw most of my inspiration from the natural world and try to capture the beauty I find in nature. I then enhance this beauty through the use of thoughtful composition, editing out of nonessential details, dramatization of darks and lights, and color enhancement achieved through the juxtaposition of complementary colors. Rather than merely copying what I see, I attempt to add an element of poetry and personal expression to my perceptions of the world. Throughout the process I am primarily attentive to the nuances of the ambient atmosphere and to the unique effect that light has upon the landscape I am depicting.”
