Ned Snider (born 1975, Princeton, New Jersey) is a visual artist working at the intersection of many disciplines including printmaking, painting, writing, and graphic design. His work occupies a space between conceptual art, graphic art, and abstraction.
After graduating from the Cranbrook Academy of Art with an MFA in 2d Design, Snider worked primarily as a screen printer in Brooklyn, drawing most of his inspiration from his background in graphic design.
“[His] abstractions take cues from text and graphic design and, with a sense of humor, push meaning away from the didactic and into the poetic.”
