Artist's Statement
I studied at the School of Visual Arts and a small college in the midwest. I received my certification at the New York Botanical Gardens in 2004. I have enjoyed teaching art at Ward Pound Ridge Reserve, Lasdon Arboretum, the New York Botanical Gardens and my studio. I have returned to oils in the last few years and it is like coming home again. I now enjoy painting in my studio and outdoors (plein air) in the beautiful countryside that surrounds us. Not a day goes by without walking my loved dogs over the hills of Westchester and taking in the beauty that surrounds us and inspires my art.
